An Indian pilot is being hailed as a hero after being stabbed on a flight to Tel Aviv.
What happened? A co-pilot stabbed his partner and tried to crash the plane, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He said the injured pilot fought back.
The latest: Israeli officials identified the suspect as an Omani national. Investigators are questioning why he was allowed to fly to Israel and how he brought a weapon onboard.

The case: At age 18, Christa Pike helped carry out the murder of fellow teen Colleen Slemmer in Knoxville in 1995. Pike was set to be executed after efforts to spare her life failed.
But it went wrong: Witnesses described a harrowing scene, as Pike continued to talk, breathe and snore after two rounds of lethal injection drugs. She’s receiving medical care.

Florida officials discovered mysterious Flock cameras with no obvious owner.
What are Flock cameras? Automated license-plate readers. Nationwide, there are more than 120,000 of them. They’ve drawn scrutiny over police misuse and privacy concerns.
In St. Lucie County: Officials recently decided to remove all Flock cameras. But, as they prepared to do so, they found 14 they didn’t know about. The discovery has sparked alarm.
